Just a quick thought. All of these lawmakers who are so gung ho about gay marriage being legal, why aren't any of them legislating against divorce? Why aren't they trying to make it more difficult or impossible to get a divorce? Or better yet, let's make cheating illegal. Wouldn't that uphold the sanctity of marriage more?

the whole "gay marriage" issue pisses me off SO MUCH. one of these days they'll figure out that they're just being prejudice assholes, just like the people against inter-racial marriages were so many years ago. i wish they'd just legalize it and move on to more important issues, like fixing the shit educational system in our country, closing the ever-widening gap between upper class and lower class, rooting out dirty politicians, or feeding the homeless. i honestly just can't wrap my head around how people can still be against it. when are they going to figure out that we're all HUMAN?
or YES trying to make divorce AND marriage more difficult, so jackholes like my MIL don't go getting married AND divorced 8 times because they're idiots who have zero family values.
